Programmes
As GIJ-SRC’s constitutional requirement, the hall embarks on what we call “Hall Week” once in an academic year. This hall week celebration is normally packed with activities such as seminars on career development and trips to tourist sites. The hall also undertakes a social responsibility programme once each semester to educate the public (participants) on a chosen topic or problem of social interest such as road safety, HIV/AIDS, teenage pregnancy, alcoholism and many more.

Finances
The hall’s share of Students’ Fund from the SRC and internally generated funds: dues and Sutherland Hall Fund.
